The Centre is a five-minute walk from Leiden Centraal railway station. There are several commercial car parks in the immediate vicinity.

From The Hague/Amsterdam A44:
- exit 8 Leiden, direction Leiden Centrum, Plesmanlaan, Morssingel, on your right car park Morssingel.
- exit 8 Leiden, direction Leiden Centrum, Plesmanlaan, Morssingel, right Morsweg, across the railway left, left Haagweg, on your right Haagweg car park (a free shuttle bus takes you to the museum / Centre for Intrenational Heritage Activities).
From The Hague/Amsterdam A4
- exit 7 Zoeterwoude-Dorp/Leiden, direction Leiden Europaweg (N206), left Voorschoterweg, right Churchillaan, right Haagweg, cross the railway, on your right Haagweg car park (a free shuttle bus takes you to the museum Volkenkunde / Centre for Intrenational Heritage Activities).
- exit 7 Zoeterwoude-Dorp/Leiden, direction Leiden Europaweg (N206), left Voorschoterweg, right Churchillaan, right Haagweg, before the railway left, right across the railway onto Morsweg, left Morssingel, on your left Morssingel car park
